Ok so not Rhythm.what about Dawson Rush for a boy name?
Ok so pretty much everyone hated my girl name…Rhythm Blue. Which I am still really puzzled about. I do not understand why a name like that would get made fun of at all?! But thanks for your honesty.
So what about my boy name….Dawson Rush?

Dawson is cute I loved “dawson’s Creek” but Rush… no thanks

I like that name…of course I am one that likes names that everyone else isn’t going to have. You should pick a name that you like. Don’t worry about choosing the right one before the baby comes. You could go with a couple names in mind and when you see that sweet little thing for the first time you might find that one of them just “FITS”. I didn’t have any trouble coming up with names for my two children. The first boy name my husband said we both liked and the girl name we had for the first one (which was a boy) was still one we liked so name picking came pretty easy to us. Good Luck.

I like Dawson, but kind of trendy. And rush? It’s okay. Reminds me of the movie that came out last year, August Rush. That kid was really neat, good movie.
I like the names you picked.. you really shouldn’t be asking people’s opinions on it because most people are going to hate it because it doesn’t sound “normal”..
It’s one of those things, where once you meet the baby, you wouldn’t think anything else would suit them!
If the names mean something to you.. go for it.. they don’t sound bizarre.. they are just different!
To us adults it’s okay. I wouldn’t make fun of someone with that name. I wouldn’t give it a second thought really but it’s the child that’s going to have the problem. She’s the one that’s going to have to grow up with the little kids making fun of her. Which unfortunately will happen at least once. I mean my name is Carolina and I couldn’t go through life without someone asking if I’m North or South. Some people called me California because my initials are CA. As for Dawson, I like the name. I’m not a huge fan of Rush. Reconsider that. I mean it’s not so bad because it is a middle name.
I think its cute! I also heard the name “Lyrick” today….I thought that was different. You could probably even turn it into Lyricka for a girl.
I like the name dawson but the rush part I am not so sure about it.But good pick and I don’t know why everyone would make funn of rhythm blue it’s not that bad of a name I like the blue part but I am not so sure about the rythm part.

I also like Rhythm, actually. My friend really likes the name Symphony (which is just as unique) and nobody thought that was weird. I guess they thought it sounded like Melody which btw ppl probably didn’t like at first either

The boy name Dawson Rush is a cool name. I think with your girl name…Rhythm Blue….ummm I think of the the music Rhythm and Blues when I hear that. Do you want your precious daughter to go through life being asked “Do you like Rhythm and Blues?” That could get old and fast. Not to mention, that so many sexual innuendos could come of the name Rhythm and little boys can be merciless when it comes to teasing. Girls can too (but boys will GRASP the concept a bit quicker if you know what I mean?)
like I said before, the Rhythm method is why she would get made fun of. Google it. It’s not something you want to name a kid. Dawson Rush is pretty damn cool though. I thought Rhythm was cool too, but unfortunately, is way to easy to make fun of.
