Usher's second album, My Way, was released in 1997. Co-produced by L.A. Reid, Babyface and Dupri, this album can be said to have marked Usher's true entrance into stardom. The lead track, You Make Me Wanna, was #1 at the R&B charts for eleven weeks.
This album, and the song You Make Me Wanna, earned Usher his first Grammy nomination in 1998. He went on tour on the back of this success and also made his acting debut in the television series "Moesha".
