Rhythm and Blues today

I’m male and would like to sing in the style of well, lots of people, basically, the type of artists you would see on the Blues Brothers.

Bear in mind that I’m not really a singer generally, so basic tips would be great too. I play classical and electric guitar, as well as some piano, so I’m experienced with music - i’d just like to be able to add singing to my ‘proper’ hobbie list.

R&B isn’t necessarily a more popular form of blues. Blues would be considered the King family, Robert Johnson etc

R&B is like Wilson Pickett, Eddie Forde, etc (at least in my mind)

Though they are pretty similar and a lot of artists crossover frequently…
