This catchy RB song was first recorded by Arthur Alexander in 1962 as the B-side of You Better Move On. Written by Terry Thompson in the US south. It was not a hit or well known, but musicians picked it up and liked it. I don’t know that it has ever been a hit for anyone, but to me it is.
